Bad fork/pivot ball making chirping noises?
I have a chirping noise coming out of my car when it is sitting idle in any gear. If I put my foot on the clutch the noise goes away. I'm guessing this is noise coming from the pivot ball and clutch fork. Does this need to be fixed right away? How long can I drive with this problem?
it is called the clutch release bearing. it is dry. do not ride with foot on pedal,yes fix it, not cheap.may last for months,or not. Good luck!
