I have a few questions:
I'm thinking of doing the race with my wife, were both in our 30's,....
Do you think is worth it , do you have fun?
and is my car suitable ( I have a 2006 Lamborghini Gallardo )

If you don't want the tickets and want to drive fast on regular roads. there are several races in the US that are open road challenges.
Besides the limiting of non racing traffic, it has the advantage of trained rescue workers along the route. I know this is not wheel to wheel action and that there are limitations (based on how prepped the car is and experience of the driver).
But they are sanctioned events and should provide an outlet for the need for speed.
