The 1500KV means 1500rpm per volt.
So multiply the voltage of your controller (battery = 7.2v?) by the KV value and you will have an approximate no-load speed of 1500x7.2 = 10,800rpm.
There are quite a few other factors to take into account, but this will give you a starting point.
NB: LiPO (lithium polymer) will be around 3.7v per cell, so depending you may need to recalculate if you use LiPO (1cell = 5,500 rpm, 2 cells = 11,000 rpm).
