Aluminum Engine on an engine stand??????
Is there anything i should be concerned with mounting a 4cyl complete motor on an engine stand (300lbs)? I know there is no concern with iron block but never done an aluminum. Is it the same as cast iron? It wont crack the block or warp anything?
engine is a sr20de 2.0 from nissan se-r
just use all four mounting arms and run bolts through each to support the engine. If you tried to use just one or two bolts to hang the engine you might crack the casting use four and you will be fine.
